8 Top Carnivore Diet Desserts – Easy No-Carb Recipe Ideas

Here are some of the best carnivore desserts I have used for weight loss throughout the last two or three years of my fat loss journey.

With the holidays coming, like Thanksgiving in both the US and Canada, there’s a lot of talk about desserts and how people will get through the holiday season without totally destroying their progress.

Staying on track can be incredibly challenging if it’s your first year on the Carnivore diet.

Finding some carnivore diet dessert recipes you can adjust to your needs can be precisely what you need to get through the first years of your journey.

And they can be a critical tool to continue your progress for years.

When I first started my keto journey, it was tough. When I was low carb, it was ALL about the desserts.

I NEEDED that sweet flavor.

You can have many keto desserts, but although they satisfy your craving at the moment, they can work against you in the long run.  These desserts can sometimes keep the cravings alive if you overdo it.

And it’s EASY to overdo it.

I started carnivore desserts about three years ago on my YouTube channel.

How Carnivore Dessert Recipes Can Help You Stay On Your Fat Loss Journey

These carnivore dessert recipes are a great way to transition from craving sweets into a full carnivore lifestyle.

Although some of these recipes are my favorite desserts, I started out eating sweeter versions of these simple recipes.  In the beginning, I ate them all the time, but now I rarely have dessert because I just don’t crave them like I used to.

I wouldn’t consider myself one of those strict carnivores.

I have just transitioned into a lifestyle of eating carnivore for my health.

Now, I really only have carnivore or low-carb desserts for special occasions.

Transitioning from sugar to sugar substitutes to 100% carnivore takes time.

Don’t feel bad if you’re not there yet.

This is a journey.

My Preferred Sweeteners (If You Need Them)

I’ll suggest some products that helped me through this tough time.

Liquid Stevia

What I like about these drops is I can adjust the amount.  You can easily drop down from 10 drops to 3 drops to 1 drop over time.

Glycine Powder

Glycine powder is not a sweetener, but it has a sweet taste.  When I made a dessert that was mostly animal foods (or animal products), it acted as a gateway to where I am now without using sweeteners.

I used to use erythritol, monk fruit, and allulose.

I don’t use any of those things anymore at all. But I certainly don’t judge anyone who does.

You do what you have to do for your journey.

I use Stevia when I make something for the family, then I make a portion of the carnivore dessert for myself without any low carb sweeteners.

Let’s get started.

1. Carnivore Instant Pot Cheesecake

This is a really simple carnivore dessert recipe with just a few ingredients and a TON of flavor.

You only need cream cheese, butter, eggs, and some flavoring. It also has heavy whipping cream. In the video, I use just the normal grocery store kind.  This was before I found out you could buy it without meat additives.

Mix all ingredients.

This is flavored with coffee and a little lemon flavor.

Put it in your pan in the instant pot or crockpot.  You can find the full recipe with a printable recipe card here or at the link below.

2. Keto Blueberry Cheesecake

This carnivore cheesecake recipe uses brick cream cheese and heavy whipping cream.

You can add glycine to sweeten it or leave it out if you follow a strict carnivore diet.  I made a pork rind crust for this, but you don’t need it, and it didn’t turn out great.

Mix everything and chill it in the fridge for a few hours.  I added some true lemon to give it a lemon flavor.

Give it an optional whipped topping.  I put it in some jars for portion control.

I made the cheesecake for company, and the blueberries make it keto (instead of strict carnivore). It’s great for a special occasion when you want to split the recipe into some for your guests and some for you.

3. Carnivore Birthday Cake

This carnivore birthday cake is a cross between Maria Emeric’s egg white bread and Kelly Hogan’s Oopsie cake.

It’s quite a nice cake with just a few simple ingredients.

Liquid egg whites, egg white powder, true lemon, and glycine if you’d like, but it’s light and fluffy without it.

Make this carnivore cake recipe in two cake pans instead of one so you don’t have to cut it as it was difficult to cut in two.

Cut it, put some frosting on it, and if you’re having company, you can add some fruit to the top. I like it just as it is.

It’s light, fluffy, and delicious.

This makes an excellent carnivore birthday cake idea for yourself or if someone in your family is carnivore and you’d like to surprise them.

4. Frozen Coffee Dessert

This simple recipe is from December 2021.  I was still having zero-carb sweeteners at that time.  I decided to make it again without sweetener.

It has three ingredients.  Strong coffee, whipped egg whites, and whipped heavy cream.

This is a very lovely, light, and fluffy coffee dessert. Perfect for satisfying that sweet tooth.

5. Butter Bites (Also Known As Carnivore Candy or Carnivore Crack)

These butter bites are easy to make and great for those on a strict carnivore diet.  A lot of people call this carnivore crack or carnivore candy.

Melt butter until you get a golden brown color, remove from heat, and let cool. And pour into a measuring cup.  Make sure you get all the brown bits. Spoon or pour into a mold or put them into a pan and freeze.

You can also make whipped brown butter bites.  Whip until it’s light and fluffy, and spoon it out again into a freezer mold or into a pan.

Keep in the freezer and have them when you need a quick carnivore snack or for when you need a little more butter.

6. Carnivore Air Fryer Creme Brulee

This carnivore air fryer creme brulee recipe is my air fryer version of Kelly Hogan’s creme brulee.

You only need some egg yolks, heavy cream, a little vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and a dash of cinnamon.

This easy recipe only has a few minutes of prep time and cooks in 25 minutes.  Then chill and enjoy.

It’s so rich and delicious.

For best results, make sure you have water in the bottom of your air fryer so it gives your creme brulee a water bath. Otherwise, you risk burning it.

7. Easy Carnivore Jello and Cream

This recipe is reminiscent of my childhood when I had jello and ice cream.

We’ll make jello from any flavored tea, such as herbal tea, packaged tea, or even coffee, as some of my followers have suggested.

Steep your tea, then bloom your gelatin.

Mix together and put them in the fridge.  Serve with some whipped topping.  This makes a delicious after-dinner dessert with an extra added collagen bonus!

8. Kiltz’s Carnivore Ice Cream

For this last recipe in my list of best carnivore desserts for weight loss, we’ll be making ice cream.

I met Dr. Kiltz at Keto Con. Before then, I didn’t know who he was.

I quickly learned he’s warm, funny, and loves ice cream.

This ice cream has just a few ingredients and is so tasty.

Make it with or without sweetener.

Either way, it will satisfy your sweet cravings.
