Keto Lemon Coconut Balls – Low Carb Fat Bombs

Coconut and Cream cheese ballsKeto Lemon Coconut Balls (AKA Low Carb Cheesecake!)

Lately I’ve been obsessed with making cream cheese bites and these Keto Lemon Coconut Balls are my favorite rendition so far.

They taste like cheesecake to me, so I had to share them!

I love the little sweet bites of bliss that I have been making. I keep them in the back of the fridge and when I get that feeling of needing something and tuna just won’t cut it, I pop one of these little balls and it just takes the edge off.

To me they taste like lemon cheesecake and they are perfect for LCHF and low carb diets and staying in ketosis. In other words, no regrets after!

How to make the Keto Lemon Coconut Balls

  1. Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature.
  2. Combine cream cheese, lemon and sweetener in a bowl and blend together well with a wooden spoon. (If you do not have True Lemon, try Crystal Light Lemon drink mix or something similar. Omit the sweetener)
  3. Once the mixture is well combined, put it back in the fridge to harden up a bit.
  4. Roll into 16 balls (they will be about a tablespoon each).
  5. Dip each ball into coconut.
  6. Cover with saran wrap and hide them in the back of the fridge so you won’t be tempted to eat them all! Ok fine, so nobody else gets them!
  7. Optional: Garnish with grated lemon zest

One Keto Lemon Coconut Ball contains 54 calories, 1 carb, 5 fat, 1 protein giving a ratio of 82/10/8 on the Ketogenic diet.

    1. Oh for sure, it’s all about experimenting! I have only done with the True lemon packets so I can’t advise on exact amounts, but if I didn’t have those I would try some lemon extract, or even some lemon sugar free jello powder. Real lemon juice might be tricky because you’d have to use a lot to get enough lemon flavor and that might make the balls too liquidy, but maybe using lemon zest?

  1. Hello there
I have been making the cream cheese egg muffins with your recipe and LOVE them! Thank you for sharing this recipe. Any idea what the nutrition is on this? Calories, carbs fat? I did not see his on your website anywhere.

p.s. congrats on your weight loss and I love your blog!

    1. This is for the lemon balls, hope that’s what you meant! One Keto Lemon Coconut Balls contain 54 calories, 1 carb, 5 fat, 1 protein.

        1. I do everything by taste but on the back of the Swerve package there should be an amount given that equals the taste of 1 teaspoon sugar. You could start with 3 servings of whatever that guide says and see how that tastes.

  2. Hi. Love this site and this recipe! When you say 2-3 packages of true lemon, do you mean the packs inside the box or the entire box? May sound silly but want to ensure I get it exactly correct haha.

    1. Ha, no I meant those little packets inside the box. They are about the size of a Splenda packet. I like them because they don’t add liquid to this recipe. Thanks for visiting! :-)

  3. Thanks for a very simple recipe. I just stumble into this one. I do thanksgiving and Xmas every yr. Where can I go on for more simple delicious recipes? My hats of to you woman!

  4. I don’t have true lemon but do have real lemons and I also have lemon oil….can I substitute either of these and if so how much do you recommend?

    1. In order to get the right consistency and be able to form the mixture into balls you need to use as little liquid as possible. So maybe use lemon zest from those lemons and not the juice. Sugar free lemon jello powder would also work. I have never used lemon oil so I don’t know about that. Good luck!

      1. Thank you ….I see it is fixed… I shared it on my recipe page and we noticed it……@Sandy’s Simple Recipes and More….
